The 6th Annual Pediatric Urgent Care Conference (PUCC) is an educational and networking event for urgent care clinicians (including doctors, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants), practice administrators and managers, business professionals, and pediatric nurses.
PUCC gives medical professionals the opportunity to enhance their knowledge, stay on top of emerging trends and technology and expand their professional connections. A Maintenance of Certification- and Continuing Medical Education-accredited event, eligible attendees can earn valuable professional credits while they network and learn.
Choose from three conference tracks—or attend lectures and workshops across all three—to bolster their skills and knowledge:
- The Core Concepts track reviews basic pediatric urgent care concepts, aimed at less experienced pediatricians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and nurses.
- The Emerging Concepts track provides cutting-edge content to experienced practitioners and offers 100% new content for 2020.
- The Practice Management track is designed to help clinicians and administrators succeed in healthcare organizations.
PUCC 2020 features an entire day devoted to improving the patient experience—with all new content—and the opportunity to earn for PXE credits.
Non-Pediatric Clinician Pathway
All new for 2020, PUCC now has a dedicated learning pathway for adult-trained providers who care for pediatric patients in the urgent care setting! The Adult Pathway reviews high-yield pediatric topics, like bronchiolitis, pediatric asthma, anaphylaxis in children, and X-ray lucency in growth plates, to ensure you gain the knowledge and skills of an experienced pediatrician.
Also new for 2020, PUCC offers a dedicated learning pathway for nurses who work in urgent care! The Nursing Pathway lectures, interactive sessions, and workshops—some led by nurses and NPs—provide high-yield education and training.
